Certain types of digital media storage remain popular due to their ability to handle complicated file types without access corruption. An example of this would be a memory stick or a memory stick pro. Though created some 10 years ago, these particular solid state digital media devices are still very popular with digital photo enthusiasts.

The main reason for this popularity is that a memory stick generally has a fast transfer rate of data for download and usually does not result in excess file corruption during transfer. However occasionally we do have the need to recover photos from corrupted memory stick storage. We do this using the same tool we use to recover lost data from flash drive media. This means if you use a Windows based PC you will need a Windows based photo recovery tool. If you are a Mac user you will need a tool created for Mac photo recovery.
